About the venue
A stunning and beautiful college founded in 1882, set amidst 7 acres of manicured grounds. Selwyn was one of the first all-male Cambridge University colleges to admit women.
Actors Hugh Laurie and Tom Hollander studied at Selwyn as well as some prominent MPs, writers and leading scientists.
Tourists are sometimes allowed in the grounds, but we host you in the spacious wood-panelled Harrison room.
Car parking: You should find free roadside parking places in Cranmer Road, Herschel Road or Adams Road, and the college is just a 5-10 minute walk from there. Or there may be a metered parking space closer to the college in Sidgwick Avenue (roughly £10 for 6 hours).
Park & Ride: the college is 10 minutes by bus from Madingley Road Park & Ride or 12 minutes by bus from Trumpington Park & Ride. You can park for free and just pay a small return bus fare.
By rail: from the train station you can catch a taxi (10 mins).
