England has some great opportunities for winemakers and plenty of challenges as well. How will you know which English wines to choose?
Join us for a tasting of top English wines, many of which have won the highest accolades in the most respected wine competitions (Decanter World of Wine Awards and the International Wine Challenge). Sample Gold medal winners, Platinum medal winners and 'Best in Show' trophy winners.
We will be joined for the evening by Matt Hodgson, Director of Grape Britannia English wine specialist retailer.
The line up includes Chapel Down’s Kits Coty Chardonnay, which won Decanter 'Best in Show' and which Cambridge Wine Merchants review as being: "Without doubt the best English wine I have ever tasted".
And the last wine is the first ever English red to receive a Gold Medal in the prestigious International Wine Challenge, with only 5,000 bottles produced

All tastings include; minimum of 6 wines sourced locally so you can find them easily if you like them, full tasting notes, tasting sheet and use of professional tasting glasses.
