Welcome to wine school!
Since we are in Tier 4 at the moment we are unable to run in-person courses and events, but we have scheduled events for later in the year that should be fine to go ahead. If restrictions continue there is no need to worry - we are being super flexible with bookings. Our events repeat through the year anyway so you can simply transfer to another date or choose a different subject (you don't have to stick to the theme).
What safety measures will be in place?
All our Cambridge venues have been implementing relevant safety guidelines. We will be using airy and spacious meeting rooms to ensure space and safety.
- households will sit separately (unless we go back into Tier 1 in which case you can sit at tables of 6)
- class sizes will be smaller to maximise space around participants
- tasting glasses and wine notes will be laid by staff wearing gloves
- tasting samples will be poured at your table by the course tutor wearing mask and gloves
- hand sanitiser will be available
- you are not required to wear masks when sitting
- if you need a spittoon we can supply a disposable cup for your discrete personal use
As a small business we are extremely grateful for your continued support. We hope the thought of coming to a delicious and safe wine tasting brings some joy and relief in these times.
Or you can also join us online from your home!
We continue to run our popular ONLINE wine tastings - fun, informative and sociable (click to find out more).
We also have ONLINE WSET courses - gain a qualification in wine studying at home.
How can I re-book for an event that was postponed?
Whenever you are ready, simply choose from available dates and email us to request we add you to the attendance list for that event. If there is a balance due we will contact you.
My gift voucher is about to run out?
If you did not get enough opportunity to use a voucher during lockdown don't worry - lockdown periods have automatically been added back into voucher life. Simply email us when you have chosen a date. Note voucher expiry date relates inany case to when they are used to book, not the date of the event you choose. For example a voucher expiring today could still be used to book an event on the website scheduled for 6 months from now.
Gift Vouchers are still a great idea!
Our Gift Vouchers carry the longest period of validity in the gift experience industry - they are valid for two years to allow your recipient plenty of time to choose a convenient date. Our Covid guarantee is that any lockdown or Tier 3 periods in that time will be added back in.
We hope you stay happy and healthy.
